The ERM-6.3 is an extremely high performance, large format LCR monitor. Designed for use in high performance home theater and music systems, the ERM-6.3's perfomance is particularly notable in that it can provide a rock solid front soundstage with significant low frequency performance and excellent on and off axis frequency response due to its full 3-way design. The use of our signature Nested Array™ for midrange/high frequency duty coupled with a pair of high performance 6.5" woofers provides phenomenal low frequency authority and weight while minimizing off axis lobing and frequency response errors. This provides a wide sweet spot and delivers a spacious and coherent soundfield with absolute authenticity and impact. As much as 70% of a movie soundtrack is directed towards the center channel, so center channel performance is critical to the overall realism and impact of the cinema experience. Until you've tried a true large format LCR configuration, you may not realize what you've been missing: a cohesive soundfield with pinpoint localization of effects with amazingly accurate, detailed, and natural dialogue. In addition, the extended low frequency performance of the ERM-6.3 allows for perfect and effortless integration with your powered subwoofer.
Like all Emotiva Reference loudspeakers, construction is first-rate with an advanced and highly complex LC crossover network. We've included controls for boundary compensation, high frequency lift, midrange level, tweeter level, and bi-amping. Low defraction, low resonance, milled aluminum baffle plates accomodate magnetically attached grills. The cabinet features a beautiful six stage satin lacquer finish that integrates beautifully into any system or room.
