A note on Macrovision: As mentioned earlier, we have obtained Macrovison licensing in order to provide more in depth trans-coding capabilities on copy protected sources. We have another version of the SW for those of you facing Macrovision limitations (on analog video outputs) under development. We anticipate its completion in approx. 3 weeks. This SW enhancement affects only analog video outputs. It has not effect on HDMI enabled content and connections.
Again, should you have any questions or need assistance, we are here to help!
Sincerely,
Big Dan

ERC-1 Reviewed at AVREV.com
Hefty build, great sound, eye-catching design and audiophile-grade guts make the ERC-1 a terrific all-around player. At just $399, it's one of the best buys in audio – period.
Emofest 2009 was a great success, and we'd like to thank everyone who came out and shared it with us. We couldn't have done it without you!
Over two hundred friends joined us for fun, food, music and equipment demos on Sunday, September 6th. Many prizes were given away and amazing deals were to be found on all gear we had in stock. We truly had a wonderful time, and extend our deepest thanks to all who were a part of it.
The Emotiva USP-1 stereo preamplifier is a delightful surprise. It performs far beyond its cost, and this is testament to the design skills of Emotiva's engineers. I also consider this a major step forward in the image that "Made in China" has. Even if the US economy were not in trouble, Emotive would sell a boatload of these preamps, and I suspect that, things being the way they are, maybe two boatloads.
Steve Guttenberg's high-end audio blog, 'The Audiophiliac' recently posted 'How to: Double your home theater's power', and listed the XPA-5 as an affordable and powerful cure to the problem of low powered receivers.
"Today's receivers are jam-packed with features, but the one thing they lack is power.
In fact, most $500 receivers never come close to delivering their rated power into all channels.
Some can barely manage a third of their claimed wattage. Right now, your 100 watt per channel receiver might be pumping out only 30 something watts."
