Hi, I’m turning my detached but insulated garage into a man cave. There will be no heat or AC.. Do you think it would be ok if I have a mini-x A-100 amp in the garage? Thanks, -Chris

Hi: This little amp seems perfect for the minnie maggie system I’m considering. Is there a way to plug an ipod directly into it or would there need to be an ipod player between the ipod and the amp? Thanks for your help

You can use any headphone to RCA adaptor or iPod doc that has RCA jacks on it and plug directly into the amp with no problem.

Is there currently a *mini* pre-amp and tuner to match the mini-x-a-100 amp? I am currently using a 30 year old high end Toshiba M15 amp\pre\tuner etc. for my desktop system and love it however I would like to update it soon and this looks to be the perfect fit, I would want a matched setup though. Thanks!

How about the cooling fan – I cannot find any information about noise level or operation. Is the noise an issue in a quiet enviroment?

Several people have asked about adding a subwoofer by using the “outputs” on the amplifier. Would this work if the subwoofer has the usual high and low crossover filters plus a volume control? Please answer as many people are interested in this amp if a sub can be used under these conditions.
I am guessing your upcoming matching mini pre-amp will have a sub out, but until then, can a sub be hooked up as I indicated??? Please answer.

Could this amp accommodate an Airport Express Base Station (AE). I would like to connect a pair of outdoors speakers and configure the AE to use AirPlay to send audio via my wireless home network?

re the mini-X a-100 Amplifier: can I run directly from my computer soundcard to this amp, using computer to control volume. Looking for something to drive small passive speakers in desktop system. If not, could I run from Dragonfly USB DAC to this amp, using Dragonfly to control volume. Thank you.

Why has no one answered the questions raised about connecting a subwoofer to this amp?
