Airmotiv RS11 Reference Subwoofer

The Airmotiv RS11 Reference Subwoofer is a powered subwoofer that delivers the audio spectrum's lowest octaves with precision and absolute authority. The Airmotiv RS11 features an 11" high-excursion low-frequency driver, an audiophile quality Class-D amplifier rated at 500 watts continuously and 1000 watts peak, and a frequency response that is flat down to an impressive 20 Hz. The Airmotiv RS11 was designed with the optimal combination of a robust motor structure, extremely high excursion, and very low moving mass. The resulting combination of raw power, low distortion, and excellent transient response allows the listener to fully experience special effects in your favorite action movie, cleanly and with absolute authority, while accurately conveying all of the beauty and subtleties of music. The Airmotiv RS11 shares all of the features of our larger RS13. However, it is smaller, has an amplifier that is a little less powerful, and has a slightly less maximum output at the extreme bottom end of the frequency spectrum. The RS11 is the ideal solution if you need a clean, powerful subwoofer, but space is limited.

Audiophile Quality Electronics

• A powerful, efficient, cool-running, audiophile-quality Class D amplifier; rated to deliver 500 watts RMS continuous and 1000 watts peak.
• Both balanced and unbalanced audio inputs, stereo unbalanced inputs, and a convenient balanced loop output.
• A truly transparent limiter, which is inaudible in regular operation, but makes it virtually impossible to accidentally overload the RS11, or cause it to distort audibly.
• Flexible crossover controls implemented in a powerful dual-core 48 bit DSP audio processor include continually variable adjustments for Phase, Level, and Crossover Frequency. Separate switches allow you to bypass the internal crossover, select between two different bass response profiles, and choose between always-on and auto-on operation.
• All operating controls and status indicators on the Airmotiv RS11 are conveniently located on the top panel under a removable, magnetically attached, smoked plastic cover.

• Critically braced, acoustically inert, HDF cabinet – with a full 50mm thick front baffle, 25mm thick sidewalls, and integral non-slip rubber feet.
• Low noise, front-firing, aerodynamically contoured, slot-loaded port.
• A tough yet attractive exterior, finished in your choice of either furniture-grade flat black lacquer or a high gloss piano black finish.
• All audio inputs and outputs are on the rear panel.
• All operating controls are concealed under a convenient removable, magnetically attached, top-mounted control panel.
• A removable sculpted fabric grill attached by powerful magnets.
