The Emotiva RMC-1 CR8 is a Certified Refurbished cinema processor with 8K-capable HDMI 2.1 switching. It’s upgraded with new hardware and updated internals where it counts. CR8 includes a new HDMI 2.1 (8K) board and a new ECC-2 control board, plus installed Wi-Fi antenna assembly, a newly registered Dirac Live license, and the latest firmware. Every unit is burn-in tested and put through full QC before it ships. Backed by a one-year limited warranty.

In practical terms, CR8 is built for modern sources and simpler day-to-day control. HDMI support includes 4K/120Hz and 8K/60Hz, plus VRR, QMS (including QMS with VRR), Dolby Vision, IMAX Enhanced, eARC, and fast input switching. For audio, you get 16 fully differential channels of balanced XLR outputs and the included AKM 16-channel analog output board. Pair it with external amplification and you can build the system you actually want, then fine-tune it with Dirac Live.
