Security Vulnerability Disclosure Policy

At Emotiva, we take the security of our products, services, and customer data seriously. We welcome responsible disclosure from security researchers and members of the security community who identify potential vulnerabilities that could help us improve the security of our systems.

Vulnerability Response Process

Vulnerability Submission & Acknowledgement
We continuously monitor our vulnerability reporting channels. Once a report is received, it is reviewed and assigned to the appropriate team for investigation.

Vulnerability Verification
Our security team will validate the reported vulnerability to determine its legitimacy, potential impact, and exploitability.

Remediation Planning
If a vulnerability is confirmed, we will develop and implement an appropriate remediation plan or risk mitigation strategy. The solution will be tested to ensure the issue has been resolved.

Impact Assessment
We will evaluate all potentially affected products, services, and systems to determine the scope of the vulnerability and any necessary corrective actions.

Security Advisory
Once remediation has been completed, Emotiva may publish a security advisory or notification when appropriate to inform customers of the issue and any recommended actions.

How it Works

1
Reporting a Security Vulnerability

If you believe you have discovered a security vulnerability affecting an Emotiva product, website, or service, please report it by emailing:

security@emotiva.com

To help us investigate your report as quickly as possible, please include the following information:

* Your name and contact information

* The affected product, service, or website

* A description of the vulnerability

* Steps required to reproduce the issue

* Any proof-of-concept or supporting evidence (if available)

* Any additional information that may assist our investigation

2
Responsible Disclosure Guidelines

We appreciate responsible security
research and ask that you:

* Avoid accessing, modifying, or deleting customer or company data.

* Do not disrupt or degrade the availability or performance of our services.

* Do not access accounts or information that do not belong to you.

* Refrain from publicly disclosing the vulnerability until Emotiva has had a reasonable opportunity to investigate and remediate the issue.

* Comply with all applicable laws and regulations while conducting security research.

3
Security Advisories

When appropriate, Emotiva may publish security advisories describing confirmed vulnerabilities and available resolutions once remediation has been completed.

The timing of any public disclosure will depend on factors such as:

* Completion of remediation efforts

* Potential impact on customers

* Coordination with third-party vendors or partners

* Responsible disclosure practices. Our goal is to balance transparency with the safety and security of our customers and systems.
