Every immersive audio format worth having is decoded here in full: Dolby Atmos, Dolby TrueHD, DTS:X Pro, DTS:X, DTS-HD Master Audio, and IMAX Enhanced, across a true 9.4.6 home theater layout of fifteen bed-layer and height channels.
DTS:X Pro is the tier that addresses a room this large natively instead of folding it down, while the Dolby Surround Upmixer and DTS Neural:X expand two-channel and 5.1 material across every speaker you own. Prefer it untouched? Pure and Direct modes bypass the processing entirely. Every format is here on day one— nothing to add later, nothing to upgrade into.
Four Subwoofers for full control
Most Dolby Atmos processors and AV receivers at this price stop at two subwoofer outputs carrying an identical signal. The LX Series gives you four independent balanced XLR subwoofer outputs, each with its own distance and level, each measured and corrected individually rather than summed into one shared channel.
That independence is what makes multiple subwoofers worth owning: placed apart and controlled separately, four subs cancel room modes instead of reinforcing them, so peaks drop, nulls fill in, and every seat on the couch gets the same low end as the middle one. XLR-to-RCA converters ship in the box with the LXR-11.
The complete Dirac Suite Included
Dirac Live, Dirac Live Bass Control, and Dirac Active Room Treatment all arrive with a full prepaid license tied to your unit, plus the calibrated measurement microphone and tripod needed to run them - no license key, no activation, no upgrade to buy later. Competing home theater processors sell Bass Control and ART as add-ons costing hundreds, on top of a machine that already cost more.
Dirac Live corrects frequency and timing at your listening position, Bass Control manages all four subwoofers as a single system, and Active Room Treatment uses every speaker in the room to shorten bass decay. Levels and distances get set for you while it runs.
11 channels of NCOREX power
The LXR-11 is an 11-channel Dolby Atmos AV receiver built on high-current Hypex NCOREX Class-D amplification 140 watts into 8 ohms, 240 into 4, stable down to 4 ohms with a damping factor above 500. That last figure is the one you actually hear: a tight grip on the woofer, bass that starts and stops exactly when the recording says to.
Eleven channels run completely fanless, so there's no noise floor from
the rack during a quiet scene and no heat to design a cabinet around. Fifteen preamp outputs remain for expansion, and the internal amplifiers switch off entirely if you ever move to separates.
