CR8 Processor Upgrade Program Terms & Conditions

By participating in the Emotiva CR8 Upgrade Program, you agree to the following terms:

1. Eligibility

• Only Emotiva XMC-2, RMC-1L, and RMC-1 processors are eligible for upgrade.

• Proof of original purchase is required.

• If purchased secondhand, proof of ownership transfer must be provided.

• Units with physical damage or damage from lightning/surges may be declined or require additional repair charges.

2. Upgrade Pricing

• RMC-1 → $1,699
  Includes: HDMI 2.1 board, control board, high-output power supply, antennas, full QC, firmware update

• XMC-2 or RMC-1L → $1,499
  Includes: HDMI 2.1 board, control board, antennas, full QC, firmware update

3. Optional Add-Ons

• Optional phono and XLR modules (for RMC-1) are available at standard MSRP and are not included in the base upgrade fee.

4. Ordering and Shipping

 

• Upgrade requests are processed in batches, in the order received. You can submit your request at any time, and we will contact you when your processor is next in line.
  
  

• If you're not ready to move forward at that time, your request will be moved to the back of the queue.

• You are responsible for shipping your unit to Emotiva.

• Emotiva covers standard ground return shipping within the continental U.S.
  

5. Turnaround Time

• Typical in-house upgrade time is 2–4 weeks after receipt of your unit (depending on volume), so plan for downtime in your system.

• A new CR8 serial number and badge will be applied to your upgraded unit.

6. Warranty

• Upgraded CR8 units include a 2-year limited warranty, or the remainder of your original warranty—whichever is longer.

• CR8 warranties are not transferable.

7. Additional Terms

• CR8 upgrade pricing and terms are subject to change at any time.

• Trade-in credits and CR8 upgrades cannot be combined.

• Emotiva reserves the right to deny upgrades for units not meeting eligibility or condition standards.
