In the past your only options for correcting your speakers and room were tone controls and graphic equalizers. Times have changed, and our current home theater equipment offers a powerful variety of options for perfecting the sound of your room and your system. Our entry level processors include our EmoQ automatic room correction. Simply plug in the included microphone and press a few buttons; the built-in EmoQ room correction system plays test tones, measures your speakers and your room, and computes accurate corrections to optimize the sound of your system. Our XMC and RMC processors offer Dirac Live Automatic Room Correction. The more powerful Dirac Live software uses a separate computer to calculate precise room corrections, which include both frequency response and timing corrections, then transfers them to the processor for use with its built-in processing engine. They also work with Room Eq Wizard – a very popular and powerful free room correction program. And, for those of you who prefer to make their own corrections the old fashioned way, all of our processors include parametric equalizers, which offer the ultimate in precise flexible manual adjustment.
