Two Channel Perfection
The XPA-2 Gen3 is built for the two channels that matter most in a stereo system: your main left and right speakers. It’s also a strong upgrade for the front L/R channels in a home theater, where clarity and dynamics can make or break the experience.
Modular Design
The XPA-2 is built on our XPA Gen3 modular platform and ships with two High-Powered Single-Channel modules installed. The chassis also leaves five module slots available for future expansion as your system changes (modules must be installed by Emotiva or an authorized Emotiva service representative).
Class A/B Power
Each channel uses a fully discrete Class A/B amplifier module with a short signal path and high current capability. Backed by a high-efficiency, regulated SMPS and Optimized Class H operation, it delivers clean detail and strong dynamics without sounding strained when the music gets demanding.
Easy Integration
Connect the XPA-2 to a stereo preamp, AV processor, or an AVR with PRE OUT connections, then choose balanced XLR or unbalanced RCA on each channel using the rear-panel input selector switches. Add trigger input and output, and it slots cleanly into both two-channel and home theater racks.
Protection
Microprocessor-controlled protection is designed to stay transparent during normal listening, yet guard against common fault conditions like overheating and shorted speaker connections. A resettable rear-panel circuit breaker helps protect against AC line issues, and the XPA-2 Gen3 is backed by our five-year warranty.
