The BasX TA1 is engineered for clean, confident sound, with an optimized circuit layout that delivers low distortion, wide bandwidth, and a virtually silent noise floor. Its analog inputs stay fully analog, never converted to digital, and all switching, volume, and tone adjustments happen in the analog domain for a purist signal path. Digital sources get precise conversion via the Analog Devices AD1955 24-bit/192 kHz DAC, and the high-sensitivity FM tuner rounds things out with 15 presets plus a Mono mode to help even weaker stations come through.

The TA1 gives you plenty to plug into, with two line-level analog inputs plus a high-quality phono stage that supports both moving magnet and moving coil cartridges, and a full set of digital inputs including USB, coax S/PDIF, and optical Toslink that handle up to 24-bit/192 kHz. It also includes a high-performance Bluetooth 5 receiver with aptX and AAC for easy wireless listening, along with an independent high-current, direct-coupled headphone amp for serious private sessions. Build it as a pure two-channel rig by running the full-range stereo outputs to a power amp, powered monitors, and speakers, or go 2.1 with dedicated main and sub outputs using a fixed 90 Hz crossover and active 12 dB per octave Linkwitz-Riley high-pass and low-pass filters.

The TA1 pairs a powerful Class A/B amplifier with a toroidal-transformer power supply to deliver rich, controlled sound with almost any stereo speakers, and it also includes active bass management that can be set up for the line-level outputs, the internal amps, or bypassed entirely when you want a straight, full-range signal path.

The BasX TA1 makes everyday listening easy and satisfying, with a big, easy-to-read blue VFD display that shows your settings at a glance and fully dims down for late-night sessions. Up front you get a familiar volume knob with precision knurling and a soft blue glow, plus a smart balance control that adjusts both channels while keeping overall room level consistent. The TA1 also remembers headphone and main output volumes separately, so switching between speakers and headphones is always surprise-free. Dial in the sound with bass and treble controls, tune FM stations manually or save favorites to presets, and run everything from the front panel or the included full-function infrared remote.
