When we set out to design the Airmotiv ATL-6.5 All Terrain Loudspeaker we made a commitment to not sacrifice sound quality for any of the other requirements. We developed a high-performance 6-1/2” coated aluminum coned woofer with an alloy frame and a 1” treated silk dome tweeter. They are paired to a carefully engineered crossover to ensure that the ATL-6.5’s sound great in all locations. Components are mounted to a rugged, one-piece roto-molded cabinet, with a fused inner layer of acoustic damping material to prevent vibrations and resonances. We’ve included quality five-way gold plated binding posts to connect them to your favorite amplifier. We’re very proud of the fact that, unlike many other weather resistant speakers we’ve seen and heard, our ATL-6.5 All Terrain Speakers really do sound like quality home loudspeakers.

The ATL-6.5 All Terrain Loudspeaker was designed from the ground up to be used in a wide variety of situations, including outdoor locations, and high-traffic indoor locations like stores and restaurants. The speaker drivers have been specially treated to resist water and UV radiation. Each cabinet is crafted out of a single piece of heavy solid roto-molded plastic, with solid color all the way through, and no seams to fail or weaken over time. The mounting brackets are made of heavy gauge steel, the grills are made from perforated aluminum with stainless steel mounting hardware, and both are protected by a tough powder coated finish with corrosion resistant undercoating. The heavy mounting screws are also solid brass under their custom dress caps.

The Airmotiv ATL-6.5 can be mounted vertically or horizontally (or at any angle you like). The heavy-duty steel mounting bracket allows for a secure and safe placement. Once the brackets are mounted our mounting system allows you to fine tune the exact mounting angle for the speaker itself. The thick brass mounting screws, with their oversized dress caps, and thick rubber lock washers fitted between the speaker and bracket, ensure that your Airmotiv ATL-6.5’s stay securely in place after you finish adjusting them.

The cabinets on the ATL-6.5 feature an attractive textured finish, and the color goes all the way through the cabinet, so it won’t wear off or chip over time. All metal components are powder coated and corrosion resistant.
