It’s late on a Friday night; the lights dim, and that guitar fills the air, warm and clear. You know you’ll be chasing that feeling forever. With the Nostala LB12, you can relive the nights that changed how you feel about music again and again.

Engineered to honor those memories, the LB12s keep the music front and center. A silk dome tweeter keeps the top end open and smooth, and our HyperDome™ midrange preserves the voice’s natural warmth and character. A proper 12" woofer lays down the groove. The cabinet is carefully braced and damped, and dual flared front ports keep bass deep and tidy.

The exterior is hand-applied natural walnut veneer, so no two sets are identical. Two precision toggle switches let you adjust midrange presence and treble until it sounds just right, while recessed cast emblems and integrated tilt stands complete the presentation.

Magnetic grills in beige or grey offer style options: attach them, or keep the baffle natural and topless. The choice is yours. The LB12 is an heirloom piece that's beautiful to look at and even better to listen to, all backed by a 10-year warranty.

The LB12s looks like the vintage speaker you remember and plays with modern control. It’s finished on all sides in hand-applied natural walnut (each set is unique), with recessed cast emblems, and two magnetic grills in beige or grey that attach cleanly with hidden magnets. The LB12 wasn't meant to blend in to your surroundings, it was meant to be shown off.

The Nostala LB12 is a three-way floorstanding loudspeaker with a vintage look and modern engineering. It uses a 1-inch silk dome tweeter, 5.25-inch HyperDome™ midrange, and 12-inch paper cone woofer.

Both. The LB12 is built for high-quality stereo listening and can also be used in a home theater system.

Emotiva recommends an amplifier rated at 100 watts or more. The LB12 is an 8-ohm speaker with 91 dB efficiency, so it works well with many modern solid-state amplifiers, receivers, and AVRs.

Start by placing them at least a foot out from your wall but ultimately play with their placement to fit your room’s acoustics for best bass performance. A little toe-in can improve center imaging. Less toe-in can create a wider soundstage.

Yes. With the tweeter and midrange toward the inside, the soundstage is usually more focused. With them toward the outside, the soundstage is often wider.

The rear switches adjust the midrange and tweeter levels. Start with both switches in the center Flat position, then adjust only if your room or listening preference calls for it.

Yes. The front baffle is fully finished, so the LB12 can be used with or without grilles. Each pair includes beige and neutral grey magnetic grilles. The grilles can slightly affect the sound, so choose your preferred setup before final placement.

Yes. The LB12 includes dual binding posts for bi-wiring or bi-amping. For normal single-wire use, leave the jumpers installed. For bi-wiring or bi-amping, remove the jumpers before connecting your amplifiers.

Treat the cabinet like fine furniture. The walnut veneer is already finished, so it does not need oil or sealant. Use a soft cloth, avoid abrasive or solvent cleaners, and do not spray water directly on the speaker.

The Nostala LB12 includes a ten-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Coverage applies to the original owner and begins on the original retail purchase date. Keep your receipt and original packaging for warranty or service needs.
