The new and improved version of our classic XIEC heavy duty fully shielded power cable combines excellent electrical performance, incredible flexibility for easy handling and routing, and sturdy yet attractive construction, to deliver the ultimate power cable upgrade. Gold plated solid copper electrical contacts ensure unimpeded current flow to power the most demanding audio gear. The cable itself is comprised of finely stranded 12 gauge pure copper conductors, surrounded by a tough yet extremely supple PVC rubber casing, and is protected from interference and noise by a full coverage foil shield. This combination yields a cable that is impressive hefty while still being so flexible it can easily be routed through tight spots and around corners. The connectors at each end feature tough plastic interior parts, protected by a black chrome metal chassis, which is then encased in an attractive layer of carbon-fiber shielding, protected by another layer of tough abrasion- resistant plastic.
