The Airmotiv E2+ is an extremely flexible two-way surround sound effects loudspeaker designed to enhance the home theater listening experience. The E2+ can render every detail, from the most dynamic passages to the subtlest of sound effects with accuracy and realism. Feel transported into your favorite movie or concert performance by the E2+'s uncanny ability to recreate a holographic sound field. You can configure each tweeter individually, allowing the E2+ to be used in a bipole, dipole, or reversed dipole configuration. This feature enables the E2+ to be optimized to work in a wide variety of systems and room locations and provides for mirror correct dispersion patterns.

A Very Special Tweeter

Our Airmotiv folded-ribbon tweeter operates by squeezing air from between a series of surfaces in a light yet incredibly strong space-age polyimide film, driven by a low-mass etched voice coil and a set of powerful rare-earth neodymium magnets. This allows a small, precisely controlled movement of the diaphragm to produce a large, precisely controlled movement of air.

This technology enables the Airmotiv tweeter to produce higher sound levels than conventional high frequency drivers with much lower distortion. The result is a clear and concise rendition of the high-frequency spectrum without significant distortion, loss of inner detail, or dynamic compression. Our Airmotiv folded ribbon tweeter avoids virtually all of the limitations that plague lesser drivers; it always sounds crisp, clear, and superbly detailed, without the slightest hint of harshness or strain.
