Plus Processor Trade-In Program Terms & Conditions
By participating in the Emotiva Trade-In Program, you agree to the following terms:
1. Eligibility

Only original owners of Emotiva XMC-2, RMC-1L, and RMC-1 processors are eligible.

Proof of original purchase is required (either order number or receipt)

Units with physical damage or damage from lightning/surges may be declined or require additional repair charges.
2. Ordering and Trade-In Credit
Â
-  Trade-in requests are processed in batches, in the order received. You can submit your request at any time, but we will contact you when it’s your turn in line.
- Â If you are not ready to move forward when contacted, your request will be moved to the back of the line.
- You will receive a credit equal to 50% of your original purchase price (pre-tax, after discounts/promotions), applied toward a new Plus-series processor (XMC-2+ or RMC-1+).
- Â Credit cannot be used toward a CR8 Upgrade.
- Â Credit cannot be combined with any other offers, sales, or discounts.
3. Model Upgrade Rules

You may only upgrade to an equal or higher-tier model:

XMC-2 → XMC-2+ or RMC-1+ or RMC-1L+
-
RMC-1L → RMC-1L+
-
RMC-1L → RMC-1+
-
RMC-1 → RMC-1+
-

Downgrades are not permitted.
4. Shipping

You will be provided a pre-paid shipping label with instructions once your eligibility has been confirmed and your invoice has been paid.Â

Your new unit will ship only after we receive and inspect your trade-in. We will not pre-ship units, so you should expect downtime.Â
5. QuotesÂ

All trade-in quotes are valid for 15 days from the date of issue.

Trade-in turnaround time begins upon receipt and inspection of your original unit.
6. Warranty

New Plus-series processors include a 5-year transferable warranty.
7. Additional Terms

Emotiva reserves the right to deny any trade-in that does not meet eligibility requirements.

Program pricing, credit values, and terms may change at any time without notice.
- Trade-ins are final sale and will not be returned once submitted.Â
