The Airmotiv XB1 features a 25mm Airmotiv folded ribbon tweeter, a 4” woven fiber woofer/midrange, and a precision crossover built from audiophile-grade film capacitors and air-core inductors, to deliver outstanding sound quality from a very compact package

The XB1 boasts a strong, neutral sounding, HDF cabinet with a stylish satin finish lacquer on the front panel. Each driver is surrounded by a low diffraction trim ring, and the sides and rear panels of the cabinet are covered with durable attractive textured vinyl.

The XB1 offers the sort of flexibility and aesthetic appeal often only found on larger and much more expensive loudspeakers. The attractive magnetically attached grill and solid metal Emotiva badge highlight our commitment to quality and design. And the fully finished front panel, and dress rings around the drivers, ensure that your XB1s will look equally impressive if you chose to run them with the grills off.

Thanks to their diminutive size the XB1s are small enough to fit conveniently on any desk or shelf. And, of course, thanks to its solid construction, the XB1 works great on speaker stands too. Yet, while compact, the XB1 is quite capable of delivering smooth well-balanced sound at satisfying listening levels in near-field applications, and in small rooms, and pairs well with a subwoofer in larger rooms or more demanding applications. The tweeter and waveguide on the XB1 can also be rotated to optimize dispersion for either vertical or horizontal mounting.
