One amplifier for multiple rooms

Create four stereo zones from eight channels. Play one source everywhere using the shared input (labeled Bus In/Out on the back), or give a room its own local input (the RCA jacks). The pass-through output lets you add another amplifier later without redoing your system.

Each room at the right volume

Every zone has its own level control. Match the hallway to the kitchen, calm a lively living room, and keep late-night listening comfortable. Set it during setup and it stays consistent.

Power that fits the space

Get 45 watts per channel into eight ohm speakers with all eight channels playing, or 60 watts per channel into four ohm speakers. For larger rooms or outdoor speakers, combine the two channels in a zone to make one higher-power channel with 130 watts into eight ohm. Use bridged operation only with eight ohm speakers.

Simple to live with

Choose auto on so the amp wakes up when it hears music, or use a 12 volt trigger so it powers up with your receiver. Quiet, temperature-controlled fans and built-in protection keep it reliable in an equipment cabinet. The front light can be turned off, the speaker connections use standard binding posts, and the power supply works with 115 volt or 230 volt AC.

The BasX A8Z is the straightforward way to get reliable, great-sounding audio in every room, without juggling extra boxes.

It gives you four stereo zones from eight channels, so you can play the same source in many rooms or give a room its own source. Each zone has its own level control, which keeps volumes even from room to room. For bigger speakers, you can combine the two channels in a zone to make one higher-power channel that works with eight ohm speakers.

Setup stays easy with auto on when the amp hears music, a 12 volt trigger that lets your receiver turn it on, and a pass-through output for adding another amplifier later. Inside, a heavy-duty power supply and quiet fans keep it reliable in a cabinet, so you can set it once and enjoy music in every room.

The BasX A8Z is an audiophile-quality Class A/B stereo amplifier, with a highly optimized short-signal-path output stage, and a linear power supply powered by an oversized toroidal transformer.

The A8Z has eight separate amplifier channels - divided into four zones. Each zone can be configured as a pair of stereo channels or as a single high powered bridged channel. The inputs on each zone can be configured to accept their input signal from either a common stereo input bus or a pair of independent inputs.
