Support for HDMI 2.1 and 8K Video
The RMC-1+ has eight HDMI video inputs and two HDMI video outputs, all of which support HDMI 2.1, including Fixed Rate Link for 8k video, Fast Port Switching for lightning-fast switching with all 4k and most 8k video sources, and Variable Refresh Rate for a great gaming experience. The RMC-1+ also supports HDR color modes, including Dolby Vision, both HDR10 and HDR10+, and HLG HDR color.
Full Support for Surround Sound and Immersive Audio Formats
The RMC-1+ supports classic surround sound formats like Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio, as well as the latest immersive Dolby Atmos and DTS:X Pro content, and includes the latest Dolby Surround and DTS Neural:X upmixers. The RMC-1+ has built-in support for up to sixteen discrete channels – so you can take full advantage of the latest high-channel-count immersive audio content.
True Audiophile Sound Quality
The RMC-1+ offers true audiophile sound quality comparable to high-end audiophile separates. The RMC-1+ offers a full range of audio decoding and processing options, all the way from sophisticated manual and automatic room correction, to our purist Reference Stereo mode, which Is perfect for listening to your high quality two channel analog sources.
Dirac Live Room Correction
The RMC-1+ includes a license to the full version of Dirac Live Room Correction, which provides advanced automatic room correction, to enable your room and speakers to sound their best. The version of Dirac Live that comes standard with the RMC-1+ supports calibration of all sixteen channels over the full frequency range.
Flexible Control and Display Options
The RMC-1+ offers a wide range of control options, including the sophisticated front panel encoder knob, our iconic solid metal remote control, a Web-based remote control interface, and a network-based API which can be integrated with whole-home control systems. Stay informed about what’s going on with your RMC-1+ at all times via the dual high-visibility front panel OLED displays, a configurable on-screen display, and the Web-based remote control interface.
Expansion Capabilities
In addition to all its standard features, the RMC-1+ features three rear-panel ports, which can accommodate additional expansion modules. The RMC-1 will ship with our Phono Preamp and Balanced Input expansion modules pre-installed and one expansion port empty to allow for future expansion.
